Overview

As a Business Engagement Specialist (BES) - Sales at RBP Consulting INC, your 
primary responsibility is to generate and qualify leads through proactive outbound 
prospecting. You will play a crucial role in the sales process, identifying and 
connecting with potential clients, nurturing relationships, and passing qualified leads 
to the sales team. Your success will be measured by your ability to create a healthy 
pipeline of prospects and contribute to the company's revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Active Research–identifying potential clients through various 
    channels, including online research, social media, industry events, and 
    referrals.

  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outbound prospecting activities such as cold calls, emails, and outreach through social platforms to initiate contact with potential clients.

  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, timelines, and decision-making authority to ensure alignment with the company's ideal client profile.

  • Client Outreach: Initiate and maintain contact with leads, providing information about the company's services value proposition and arranging follow-up calls  or meetings.

  • Sales Development: Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate the transition of qualified leads to sales opportunities, ensuring a smooth handover.

  • Sales Tools and Technology: Utilize CRM systems, marketing automation tools,
    and other sales technology to track and manage leads and prospects.

  • Lead Nurturing: Engage with leads through regular follow-ups, nurturing 
    relationships, and providing relevant information.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to identify potential leads and market insights.

  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from prospects to identify areas for improvement in lead generation and outreach strategies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working.

  • This position will require travel – 15%.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

  • Strong Sales Acumen with 1-3 yrs Proven experience in lead generation, inside sales, or a related role.

  • Knowledge of HubSpot CRM platform, Sales Hub, and marketing tools. 

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

  • SMB and Roofing Industry Knowledge.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have:

  • Additional HubSpot Certifications + other industry-related training.

  • Prior experience in the roofing industry and construction consulting/softwares is a huge plus.

  • Familiarity with Project Management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday, etc.


 

We strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and location-based considerations. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for all employee benefits.

Compensation: $30,000 Base Salary + 

  • $150 Per Qualified Appointment Completed

  • $50 per Closed/Won Deal

  • 15% Salary Performance Achievement Bonus opportunity for exemplary performance
